My friend is always complaining how she wishes she had a common name like Christina or Taylor or something.

Naveen is a lovely girl's name. Sounds like it's Asian in origin. I think when I have my little girl I'll name her that!

I dislike the name but that's my opinion. I'm sure others like it. Having an uncommon name makes you unique so she should be glad she's different.

i think its pretty, but i too prefer common names.
it makes life alot easer when you aren't constantly having to spell out or tell people how to pronounce your name all the time...
