as opposed to a job that someone enjoys, but doesn't use their full potential.

Put me in a job I do not like and I ain't using anywhere close to my full potential, and I will become very unhappy.
Obviously you have never had to work at a job you did not like or you would not ask this question

I am currently looking for work, because I am not trying to stay on welfare. I just got on it to try to get on my feet so I could take care of my kids. I wouldn't hate a minimum wage job, because a job is better than no job, and better than soaking up the benefits of other hard working citizens.
I don't want to STAY in a minimum wage job, but I would be much more useful to society if I had one. Right or wrong?

I think a person should do what makes them happy. Don't worry about others. Life is too short to be stuck in a job that you hate and makes you miserable.
