My father is swearing there was somewhat of a sequal to the Wounded Knee Massacre, only in the 1970's. Does anyone know of it? I wasn't born then, and I have no clue. I can't find anything in Google.

Your father is probably referring to 1973, when AIM tried to take over the reservation. There was a lot of shooting involved, and the Army was called in to separate the two warring Indian (Native American) factions. No massacre of the natives at this time

In 1975.. a scum-ball murdered two FBI agents, Ron Williams and Jack Coler. Said scum-ball is still in Leavenworth and hopefully will never be released, despite all of the arm-chair liberals and their t-shirts.

It wasn't a sequel really but in the 70's a group called "AIM" (American Indian Movement) occupied the town of Wounded Knee on the Pine Ridge reservation to bring light upon injustices to Indian people.
Many people were saying of 9-11 that this was the first time we had war on US soil, seemingly forgetting the many Native American men women and children that were slaughtered in order to obtain lands. Thanks for asking....a new generation may choose to be more aware of the shameful history of how Natives were treated over greed for land.

Perhaps he's thinking of the book by Dee Brown, that came out at that time.
