i have dish network and tivo..my tivo is supposed to record stuff from dish network channels. however, the guide for dish network is in sync with what is actually showing on tv, but my tivo's guide for the same channels is 3 hours ahead. how do i change the tivo guide to be in sync with what is actually showing on my dish network channel. this just started happening 4 weeks ago.....so i dunno. i have cable also and the tivo guide works good with that, and one of my dish network channels, but two of them are 3 hours off.

Dish gets its time from the satellite.
Check your Tivo, it may think you leave in the East coast, while you are in the West coast. So, go to the Tivo setup and check/edit your time zone.

I'd go with the dvr it's easier than making sure the tivo is working just do the dish dvr
