NO, if you have an ISP, you can use AOell email and AIM without the crummy software that they put on your computer. It will run about 3-5% faster without it and you'll notice not as meany blue screens (AOL causes alot of 0x0000008e errors) . You can save money by just cancelling. Assuming you already have a way to get online, you dont need AOell.

Explorer isn't a provider, it is a browser that allows you to browse the internet once you have a connection. AOL sucks by the way. Find a better ISP and use Explorer. Even netzero is better than AOL
