Like pirates of the carribean would it look better in digital projection?

normally today in cinemas they use an optical projector, the movies that we watch comes in reels. when they are used several times, they get scratched, so you notice there are black lines that cut through a scene when you watch the movie. but with a digital projector, those scratches will be eliminated. the movies can be shown multiple times and there will never be scratches. but only a few cinemas use a digital projector at this time since they cost money to upgrade.
