it sounds like either a medical reaction or something pyscopsmatic. Question: was your marriage an abusive one? If so it could be a side effect from PTSD (post tramatic stress disorder! When I had it I would be afraid to answer my door if someone knocked on it, then I would break out in sweats all over!

She stresses you out. It's a reaction to stress. Try taking deep breaths and avoiding the topic whenever possible.
