In trouble currently... feel like there's a double standard for gay guys vs lesbians??

This applies to everyone really. Not just GLBTers. If a straight guy cheats it's not really looked down upon (except by the person he cheated on) but if a straight girl cheats she's automatically labeled as a sl*t by everyone who knows. I never really understood this either. It's just one of those strange societal beliefs I suppose.
Maybe it's because everyone knows men are just hornballs? Either way it's still not acceptable (whether you're a guy or a girl). If your not satisfied with your current partner maybe it's time to break it off and move on.

That's kind of a unfair question. Girls do cheat too... maybe not as much as guys, but still that's a rather unfair view/question on your point.
There is a double standard in society, but the only way to over come that is to change and educate yourself. Make yourself better than that standard so you can show that it's not true or fair to you or any other women. I'm not telling you to go out and cheat... I'm telling you take on someone that actually matters in the world and make a difference. :)

Serious answer: Sure gay guys can cheat. But depending on the relationship, and the negotiated or assumed "rules," they *can* get in just as much trouble with the BF as you are in with your GF for that video.
Less serious, but not irrelevant, answer: The following is probably even more true for gay people than str8s.
Hogamus higamus, men are polygamous;
Higamus hogamus, women monogamous.

of course we can, but why? I am someone who believes in a monogamous, committed relationship (we just celebrated 3 years together last week). I have never once considered cheating on her. why? because I love here and I'm committed to her. I'm one who likes to prove the homophobes wrong who believe in the stereotypes that we're all promiscuous. And the majority of my gay/lesbian friends aren't either. If you want to have "fun," then you shouldn't commit to anyone....

Does it make it right.
If you are with the individual you love or enjoy being with, why would you need to cheat. Evidently you must not be happy in the relationship you are in. Don't cheat, just make a change

I've always been one who thinks to each his own and so if u want to cheat...what could be stopping u except hurting ur partner. I will admit that it is almost an expected practice of gay men to be promiscuous but then hey if ur female (lesbian, bi, whatever) and u happen to like nice things and lots of it (like me :) ) then id say it is up to u to do as u please so as long as ur willing to live with the consequences.

because women are supposed to be better then that who doesnt know a guy cheats not all guys do but some and some girls cheat but i for one think no one shoudl cheat we should be with someone because we love them and if we dont get out of that relationship dont cheat

I have never cheated on any of my mates, I don't believe in that. If someone to cheat, they don't need to be in that relationship. I can't believe how someone could cheat on their mate, go back home and then tell them that they love them. That is the biggest sack of bullcrap I have ever heard of. Be faithful, and you will not be exposing yourself to all the different deseases out there.

No one should cheat, male or female. If someone is allowed to cheat then they will do it (not always but most times) If you are in a good relationship there is never a reason to cheat!

Do two wrongs make a right? I don't think that you will spend eternity in Hell without ice water if you cheat on someone, just ask yourself if you would want to be treated that way.
