the little rascals were made in the 1930's and in that show they had white and black children in the same clubs, when blacks couldn't join white clubs, played together, worked together and did everything together

racist? no, a reflection of the times, perhaps, actually I believe it far less racist then the times it took place in.

Considering that Bill Cosby was an infant when the Little Rascals were created, I think it's safe to assume he didn't own them.

Little Rascals was a reflection of the times in which they were made. Just like Little Black Sambo, they were appropriate for their day and age. Those who find offense with them are unable to see them in that context OR they are playing power games.

There are people out there who get their jollies by convincing government that something is bad because they CAN. They don't represent you and me, but we sit back and let them do it. A wonderful example is those who banned the Harry Potter books. If you could sit the church leaders down who did that and seriously talk to them, you'd find that none of them actually read the books. And if you could talk to the people who accepted the ban, you'd find that none of them had either. They accept the ban because they are willing to let a bunch of loud-mouthed dictators decide what they should or shouldn't read. Sheep.

yes just look at the Buckwheat character. He couldn't speak correct english had hair like Don King, and everytime he was scared his eyes would get big and he fainted. Everyone knows when black people get scared they run like Tim Montgomery. And when they got rid of Buckwheat who did they get Stymie. What the f u c k is a Stymie.

No Bill Cosby didn't own them he owned Fat Albert.

WTF since when does sign of the times excuse racism.
That's like saying Archie Bunker wasn't a racist, it was a sign of the times.

They weren't racist. THey were just a creation of the times. I think Bill was too young to own them.
