There is NO third word.

The trick answer is ENE-RGY since the question doe not say that they letters must be in the order "GRY", just that they be the last three letters.

Please see the wiki link below.

This is a common word trick that HAS no answer.

There are three words in the English language that end with "gry." Two of these are "angry" and "hungry." The third word is a very common word, and you use it often. If you have read what I have told you, you will see that I have given you the third word. What is the third word? Think very carefully.
The answer is "three," the third word in the paragraph. The rest of the paragraph is a red herring.

There is no other word in the english language that ends in "gry".

The question of words that end in "gry" is actually a puzzle rather than a riddle. And the answer depends on which version of the riddle you have heard. There are at least eight different versions of the riddle. Perhaps the answer to the original version of the puzzle was meagry (of meager appearance) or aggry (coloured glass beads worn by Africans), but these are no longer words in our daily vocabularies.

Dwight Howard??? Your kidding proper. All this man can do is stand beneath the basket and dunk. He has no sport external of eight toes, and is inconsistent on the loose throw line. He has a colossal quantity of talents, however different then his cast rebounding numbers, he has proven me little or no. Amare Stoudamire, Chris Bosh, Tim Duncan, and Carlos Boozer are all larger throughout gamers, and participants then Dwight Howard. Some individuals simply look to like Howard, however I do not realise what there fascination with him is. He hasn't taken his crew wherever of outcome but, and his offensive numbers are good under the ones of the opposite men you recounted.

It is "language". The trick is that the question is asking what is the third word in "the English language". And in that case, the word is language.
