Am i obsessed with Days Of Our Lives. I love days, it is the only show i watch on tv. I got every episode of days of our lives since 1994 on tape/dvd/tivo. I got posters of days hourglass and characters on my room wall. I got every issue of soap digest since 1995 and every cover with days on it on my wall and there is alot because days is a popular SOAP OPERA. I got 4 shirts of days of our lives. The only thing i talk about in school in days of our lives. I am in high school, i am 17 years old. I can talk about days for hours withour getting bored. My desktop background for my computer is the best supercouple in soap opera and days history BO AND HOPE.
I got my own Blog on soapoperanetwork.com and i am writing my own soap opera Salem place based off of days with my OWN storylines.
I am in fit and i am hot, i am close to a sixth pack(abs)...but when it comes to days i love it.

i am loving the brady/dimera fued storyline already and it is only starting. It is dark and mysterious IMO. Tony dimera returned last thursday and he ordered his brother EJ wells-dimera to kidnapped sami brady, tony wants sami's baby for stem cells to save his father stefano's life but today ej saves her from tony. EJ has major feelings for sami and he could be the father of sami baby well celeste proved it to ej that he is the father by doing some voodoo rutual to find out if ej is the father and the spirits showed he is. Days is getting really good, this summer will be hot for days.

If you CAN say "that this has not affected your grades, your social life, sports participation, and just in general hanging out with friends and your gf," you're not obsessed. If your "obsession" has not hurt any of the above significantly (being teased unmercifully by your male friends doesn't count, assuming you can stand it), then you are not really obsessed.
Now decide whether you need to see a shrink.
Tangent: Realize you're lucky with that 6-pack, even if it's only "almost." It requires not only good muscle and low fat but also genetics!

It is hard to believe that you are for real. You need to wake up and smell the coffee and get out and get a life!
Soap operas were designed for bored housewives to watch while the children were sleeping and while they were resting or ironing. It is just sort of a romantic fantasy land. Anyone who would get hooked on them and let their life revolve around one has to be a couple of donuts short of a dozen.
You need help from some sort of psychiatric doctor.

You can not tell me that this has not affected your grades. your social life, sports participation and just in general hanging out with friends and your gf!! Get your own Life!!There is nothing wrong with watching a soap but you really have taken it too far and its taking over your life. Its not an obsession its an addiction- you need to take back your life and have some normalcy there -living vicariously means you dont get to do anything.

Television is an easy obsession to break turn it off. If you can't go cold turkey just read the synopsis online and you will get bored with that eventually; meanwhile find some volunteer work helping others it will keep your mind off make believe.
