my limewire downloads are showing up in zipped folders, and they wont let me extract,...also when i try to play em on media player, it says the file was corrupted during transfer.......any opinions

NEVER download a zipped file on limewire unless you know the person who originally posted it. Most zipped files, files with an exe or vbs extension are viruses or malware. Limewire is perhaps the biggest virus distribution tool in the world, and purposely caters to unknowlegable users. If you dont know what youre doing, I suggest you wait before you try to get free music and programs. There are MANY tools you can use to unzip files like winzip and RAR, but be careful on limewire

You may have downloaded a virus 'or a bug.' Or maybe that download has never finished well downloaded. Limewire may have really corrupted the file. But ya DELETE them asap if there is no use of keeping!

what program are you using to extract them ? i would suggest WinRAR you can search this in google or whatever try that if this doesnt help i would say its probably not a good file maybe a virus or spyware try a diffrent file limewire should have a few results for each searched file good luck

dont use limewire its damages ur pc.....its has lots of virus
use torrent softwares if u want
but mate stop using limewire

looks like you have to download lime wire again or download your zipper software again
