France is characterized by its diversity (like many others countries in the world)
If you're American you can not generalize and say that people from Hawaii are the same than people in NYC.
You cannot describe American way of life in LA, and American way of life in Dakota.
Quite same thing for France, regions are very different
I could say that regions such Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrénées (in Southwest) look like Spain, Cote d'Azur (Riviera) look like Italy, Savoie (Alps) look like Switzerland, Alsace look like Germany, Ardennes and North look like Belgium.
And Brittany look like fishes from ocean ( lol )
Seriously,
I will may also say that we more look like Belgium, because half of them speak French, and often you don't feel they're Belgians if you don't know it.
