You talk as if you have no control over yourselves. There is no chance of cheating if you follow your moral meter regardless of the distance. If you have no moral meter, then you shouldn't have chosen to be married.

Alright, I'm married and in the military, so I know about seperation. I love my wife very much and would never cheat on her. As far as possibilities, there always present. You just have to trust one another and trust yourself as well as your love for each other. The psychology part of this: Those who don't trust themselves, often just have some weakness in them that creates doubt. If that be the case, wake up each day to a picture and remind yourself just how much it would hurt to tell them that you cheated on them. Don't try living with the secret, it'll eat you alive. Those who don't trust their significant other, in most cases have either been cheated on before or deep down it's all about them not trusting the person that they are. Just make sure you don't put yourself in a situation and it won't happen.

A TRUE love relationship you wouldn't even be asking this question. I am truly in love with my husband and the thought of cheating has never crossed my mind, not even once. If you are away from each other it should make your heart grow fonder. I recommend going to a counselor for your insecurities of feeling you need someone while separated (selfish feelings obviously) and go invest in a vibrator.

cheating could happen- but, depends how committed you are to each other.... If you both know what you want out of life- then, cheating most likely won't happen.

Anything is possible. Will it happen to you just because you are apart for a year.? No one can answer that question, only time will tell.

Anything and everything is possible. But that doesn't mean it will happen. However, the old adage "out of sight, out of mind" didn't come around for no reason.

Yes. Hormones and temptations run rampant and we're all human and we all have needs. Sometimes these things get the best of us.

You do not cheat on someone you love. If you are both committed to each other it will be fine.

well I suppose it is possible in any situation...depends on how horny they are. If they are really really in love though, the chances are much slimmer. But anyone can cheat, it's not a physical impossibility in any situation. Your wanting to is just less. You just gotta trust them not to. If they know you trust them not to, then they probably won't because they want to prove that your trust is well placed.

If you truly love that person then there wouldn't even be another person you would look at but that's rare today
