Team chemistry, pitching, and timely hitting.
And to the answerer above, we dont boo people out of town anymore. That was a long time ago. JD has nothing to worry about as long as he gives 100%. The exception to this rule are relief pitchers that let 3 run leads dissapear but I mean who doesnt hate innafective relief pitchers.

Bethany, the Red Sox are doing WELL, not good!! It really does not matter what anyone thinks. Your question asks who is the best so far this season, and the record speaks for itself. As for the Yankee dreamers, dream on!! The Yankees haven't the capability to make a come back this year OR next year until and unless they get some better pitching. Their current rotation is PATHETIC!! Look for the Red Sox to win it all this year while the Yankees watch and cry!!
Chow!!

The Sox obviously are the best team this year. A lot of it has to do with the fans because if someone underperforms, they get booed and run out of town - are you listening J.D. Drew?

I will say that the Red Sox are doing good this season, BUT that is all about to end because the Yankees are eventually make a comeback. I am a huge yankee fan and I don't enjoy saying something good about our rivalry team but they are doing good for now.

enjoy calling them the best team, because it won't last. I'll give them about a week after the all-star break before they start to crack and crumble.
