What you have to do is anticipate the long note, and take in some air right before, so when you get to the high note, you have enough air to make it last! Also, what I do when I get to a long note, I squeeze it out, instead of push it out! What I mean is, you know when you have a balloon with air, you pinch the end, and squeeze the air out, so it don't all come out at one time! This also makes the note last longer! This is what you do with singing notes, that you want to last longer!

sing from your stomach not from your throat use the diaphragmatic breathing use your stomach muscles
