You can mark this down as a learning experience and let it go.
You can have them put it on a pay site and make some money off of it.

(You're right about the people who are chiding you--it's not really helpful--but remember, this category is Law and ETHICS!)
Who are you staying with? If they're friends with your GF, maybe they can intercede for you. You don't say whether you think your GF believes your explanation; if not, but they can convince her you're telling the truth, that's step 1.
Or maybe it's just going to take time, like the standard str8 "wife throws out husband, but she really loves him" scenario.
And off the top of my head and maybe way off the wall: Would having a huge bouquet flowers delivered with a candygram be so ridiculously husband-like that you'd get her laughing and remembering why she loved you in the first place?
Or you can take Artman's route and sue, or the more underhanded but perhaps more effective method suggested by Airadine where you asked this question under "Movies." (If anyone's reading this during voting, she should be Answer 2.)

You can sue due to violation to privacy laws, if you made the video trusting it would not be shown to the public.
Your consent to appear in the video is not a consent for publication and use of your image and likeness. If only one person have the video, you can sue him/her.

This pun IS intended: "You made your bed, now lie in it". There is nothing you can do now...the Internet is the World Wide Web. It's a legal "oops" that you can't do anything about. At least you know who your friends are now.

Quite frankly, you really don't have much you can do. You can attempt to sue, but you do not own the rights to the video. When you appeared in the film, you gave consent, just by appearing, for it to be published. Quite frankly, you should have thought about this before you did it.

How are you a victim when you're a consenting participant--it's not like it was filmed without your awareness...
Now if they'd filmed it without your consent you might have had a case, but as it is, it comes down to poor choices.
Live and learn.

I'd have to view it first - where I can I see it at? You can't stop it now but find out who originally placed it on the Internet - be able to prove it and go after them.

You can sue the person who put it on the web. Give me the link and I will view it and let you know if there is anything else that can be done.
Were you paid for your services?
