Low standard, in your view, simply because you apparently can't understand what commitment and resolve means - especially in the face of political pressure from the left.
Perhaps you would prefer a flip-flopping president that checks the polls every 20 minutes or so to determine what to do next.

William Hung told the Chinese press that he might run for President of the USA in 2008, because Bush motivated him.
He also said that since the other GOP candidates were either deaf, ga-y or too corrupted he would be the best candidate for the GOP

Apparantly the democratically controlled congress seems to agree with him. They just don't want to admit it. Isn't that why they approved funding of the troops without a timetable for withdrawal? And now your mad about it and just want to sit around and piss and moan! If there is anything in particular that you would like to complain about you are more than welcome, but overgeneralized statements/questions like yours only make you seem immature and somewhat foolish.
