He legally can't stop you from trying out. Make some phone calls, call the local press, turn the heat up on this guy. He has to let you try. Of course, then you'll probably have to be tough as hell at practice because they'll take it to you.

Try to find like-minded girls to form a team. They may be required by law to provide equal opportunity. Just remember Football is a violent sport, and boys can be not very accepting of girls. This isn't a Disney channel movie and things may not end up like you want.

I know of a case where a girl insisted on playing, and due to the law they were forced to form a girls team but it didn't have enough players. Because of the law, it forced the school to disband the boys team.

We had a female middle linebacker on our high school team. The coach would not let her play, because she was a girl. One day during practice we were running tackling drills, and she ran up with no pads on and knocked out our best running back(who was in full gear) with the most amazing whoo hit I have ever seen. The coach looked at that, and said, get her a helmet. She was the nicest, softest girly girl off the field, on the field, she was transformed into Dick Butkus, it was awesome. It worked for her, it may or may not work for you.

Research the guidelines for playing on the football team at your school. If there is anything that does'nt restrict you, talk to your counsler or principal. Be careful if you do get on the football team, guys can be very cruel and harsh so make sure you can stand the heat. If you dont get on, start your own team and tag on thier ugly butts in a gem of pickem up messem up.

Go to your Gudiance conusler and than the principal.
don't throw around the LAWYER thing
that will only make him want to do several things to you
first you r going to be abused by teammates just because your a girl. but he can make it worse
he will make you run patterns over the middle so the d-fense will take your head off.
you really better have the hands you say you do
or he'll cut u from the team
he isn't going to make it easier just so u can feel good about yourself
this is a team game

If you are telling the truth, your coach is nuts for not playing you and should be fired by your administrators.

However, if you are lying to us about your skill then I am not sure. If you are not physically up to par he may be worried for your safety.

If you are in great shape and can play with the boys he should let you play. If he does not then that is crazy!

I'd say take it up with the school administration and get your parents/ guardians involved. It may be embarrasing but if you want to play you have to do it!

Don't take no for an answer. He will try and beat you down cause you are a girl.. He wants to make you suffer to show you ,you can not handle the pressure.. You shove it right back in his face and show him you got what it takes to play the game...Don't give up....No matter what....

well i think if there is no other way out then-------- if you could start your own team or if you could go and play in other football club then you can show that coach what your real talent is and show him that you were right and he was wrong when he didn't select you

If it is important to you, then you can go to the school board. If there is no women's football team, then they have to allow you a "fair" shot to play (under title 9).

If you don't get satisfaction with the board, get a lawyer and sue the board.

Sweety look ! You may think that beacuse you can catch a 10 yard pass, or run as fast as the center on the team that your just as good as the boys. I hate to be the sexist of the bunch, but football is mans game ! You may be able to throw a football, but what happens when you get blind sided by a 6'5 205 lb. linebacker coming in from the side . Take my advice, Get your hair and nails done, trade in the pads for a nice cheerleader outfit, and enjoy the games from a far. Once you see guys breaking there arms and legs ,getting concusions from brutal hits, you'll thank me !
