Socialistic Liberals, like Hillary Clinton are destroying this country.
They hate everything that our nation was founded on.
They hate the idea that Americans might be smart enough to spend their own money with the government taking it and giving it away to people sitting at home on theirs butts watching tv.
They hate the military
They hate that we might actually have to defend ourselves against foregin invaders
They hate Christianity
Protect your Nation, your religion, and your Freedom
Don't vote for the Socialist or the Muslim in 2008

Let's look at the definition of both words
LIBERALISM
1. A political theory founded on the natural goodness of humans and the autonomy of the individual and favoring civil and political liberties, government by law with the consent of the governed, and protection from arbitrary authority.
CANCER
1. Any of various malignant neoplasms characterized by the proliferation of anaplastic cells that tend to invade surrounding tissue and metastasize to new body sites.
So to answer your question, yes, they're exactly the same. Oh yeah, and let me just add that Clinton lied about a BJ and made everyone think that he bolstered the economy when it was really Bush sr. and then he blew up an aspirin factory in Kosovo and gave presidential pardon to some drug dealers when he lied and said he didn't inhale. Clinton bad! Bush good! God bless America and the savior of the free world Dick Cheney.

If not for liberalism there would be no USA. The founding fathers were all liberals.
Here are some of the "cancerous" things that liberals brought to you and me.
OSHA, workman's compensation, 8 hour work day, 5 day work week, holidays off, rural electricification, TV and movie rating for child safety, FCC, Employer provided insurance, pension plans including IRA, 401K, No child labor, voting rights and suffrage, unemployment insurance, Social Security, Mecicare, Medicaid, Peace Corps, FAA, NPR/PBS, Recycling programs, FDA, Anti-trust laws, Minimum wage, Wage arbitration, Hoover Dam, FDIC, Lemon law, trade regulations, quality standards, EPA, WPA, Seat Belt and Helmet safety, CCC, National Endowment for the Arts, GI Bill and much more.

Any radical position is apt to turn into a cancer. Fortunately, most people, whether democrats or republicans, are not that radical. These people, however, do not seem to be news worthy nor create the kind of antagonism desired for radicals to enjoy discussing. Moderates are the largest segment of our voting population thankfully.
I refuse to keep defending my position to radicals making antagonistic remarks.

No traditional Liberalism is actually very healthy for a political organism. It is only when it is mixed in with Commi-socialism with a dab of totalitarianism (as it is in organizations of the Lefty-Lib persuasion) that you see the effect you describe.

Yes, Liberalism is a cancer. First it started out very small = the 60's liberals when Jews and Whites were having ga-y sex together.
Now one of the liberal group decided to be neocons = Bush Gang
Pretty soon congress will make a law protecting Neocons from discrimination

Liberal is not a dirty word. It is not evil to insist that all Americans have affordable health insurance, to decry the ever-widening gap between the richest and the poorest, to demand a decent living wage, to insist that corporations must balance concern for the environment with the bottom line, to ensure that all Americans have the right both to vote and to have those votes counted, to guarantee that women have the right of reproductive choice without government interference, to stop the obscene influence of soft money bribery of parties and candidates, and to restore human dignity to all Americans regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, or disability. It is not "fringe" to think that the way we treat one another and other people is more important than the way we express our beliefs; to find more grace in the search for meaning than in absolute certainty, in the questions than in the answers. We see ourselves as a spiritual community in which we discover the resources required for our work in the world: striving for justice and peace among all people. Liberals are motivated by Love, not by religious intolerance, insufferable arrogance and disdain of those deemed "different".

Wow, judging from many of the rabid conservative answers to your question and the many thumbs down to the reasonable liberal answers it's pretty obvious which ideology is the real cancer.

If you provide the environment, it will grow. It's not good or bad. If the host is weak, then killing it is natural.

NO WAY . Liberalism should exist.Because ,if a person is liberal it means that his decision are not based on any others suggestions . He thinks from his perspective ,and he wont take anything too seriously .If he feels anything is wrong he just find the right solution. But not do something that is not connected to it.

Yes, but it's much more difficult to cure Liberalism than Cancer. It has to be carefully resected and disposed of ( or you could send it off to a lab for analysis and to find a permanent cure.)
