It hasn't!

Not at all. I still listen to everythying I did, although I do like some (but very little) new stuff. The problem with new stuff is the lack of creativity there was when I was younger.

Now all I hear is repeated stuff, or rehashed remixes of the old stuff. Not worth plunking any amount of money down for I'm afraid. The good days and bands are gone. Now are the days of untalented singers.

Heck, I could do that. Maybe I should.

In the 70's when rap first got its start it was okay, now its just "Kill Whitey" music so I don't listen to that anymore. The "new punk" rock just doesn't have the same kick as the old stuff. I mainly stick with the older stuff from the 60's, 70's, and 80's since nothing of the new stuff is appealing. Also, country has changed a little but I'll listen to old and new stuff in country.

It has simply broadened. I still like the same kind of music I did as a kid but I also like other types as well. I have always liked R'N'R and when I was a kid that was it. Now as an adult I like that the best but I also like Jazz, Classical, well too many to mention. Basically everything except Disco (never liked) Country (Never liked) and most of the rap. My daughter likes even more types than me basically the only thing she doesn't like is Country. It will be interresting to see when she is an adult if her tastes narrow since my broadend I know I can't spell but oh well.

nicely, i grow to be a teenager interior the 90s throughout the time of the entire "rebel grrl" section, so I specifically listened to Bikini Kill, hollow, Babes in Toyland, L7 etc. even with the shown fact that as I an person at the instant I hear to somewhat some determination rock and 60s/70s/ 80s, quite plenty just about something. As a teenager I tended to shrink myself to a minimum of one sort, yet at the instant I even have broadened my tastes.

When I was a teen, I listened primarily to Top 40 or whatever was popular. The world of indie music didn't interest me until I was in my 20's.

These days, I feel I have much more liberal tastes, in that I enjoy most every kind of music, popular or not. College radio opened my ears to new sounds. :)

My TASTE in music really hasn't changed.....the MUSIC has changed. I'm 54 and still like rock or country but now days it's heavy metal or hip hop. I don't care much for that.

I listen to a lot of the same stuff that I listened to then, except now it's called "classic rock" LOL. Overall, my taste in music has stayed relatively similar to what it always was--rock, jazz, blues.

Listen to some Country now... Other than that, hasn't changed too much! Still love U2, The Cure, Dire Straits, etc.
