Why does the press let Bush get away with all the lies?

Dan Rather & Co created a false document and publicized it in an obvious effort to subvert a US presidential election. I'm sure you don't have a problem with treason but what about the lies?

What are you talking about? The real question is why does the press let the democrats get away with all the lies and crap that goes along with them? You dont hear anything bad about them now do you? it is always bush this or GOP that. You need to get your facts straight next time. Oh and Before the war started it wasnt only bush who said iraq is a threat and that they have WMD's. Your buddies like Hillary Clinton were making the case and that we should take Saddam out, and that they had WMD'S

You cant discredit one thing Bush has said, so before you try to form an uneducated guess, how about you give credible evidence Bush lied...and dont give me any conspiracy bs...facts! Oh, and by the way, the press is not the police nor the federal government. President Bush doesnt have to "get away" with anything.

Well lets look at something.I remember this happening in the late 90's.Bush sr should have taken saddam out of the way when he had the chance. Clintons administration was told saddam was making weapons of mass destruction and each time the UN wanted to go in, saddam held them off for months until war was threatened.This happened several times. Im sure he he was making something besides some saron gas and mustard gas was found not to mention a few missile parts like the engine and stuff in syria that was made in iraq.This is what the media doesnt tell you.This game with the UN and him being suspected of making weapons happened 2-3 times under clintons administration and clinton even sent troops in.The media has "conveniently forgotten " to rehash this. Could there have been weapons?Im sure there was because the clinton administration wanted to take him out but clinton decided to let the UN handle it.I would say the weapons were stored safely at saddam's allys countrys while he was holding off the UN inspections in the 90's.I could be wrong but he sure had SOMETHING to hide.Now also, realize this, when you go to war with one group of islamic terrorists, you do NOT go to war with a uniformed group in one country .You go to war with the entire middle eastern civilization of muslims.We had to have a place to launch our counter strilke against 911.Saddam didnt want to help us after all we did for him in the past, by letting him go and allowing him to break 17 UN resolutions.Once you get the group in afghanistan you better be ready to fight all the others who are scattered out in other countries.The plan is to settle iraq then go from there to sqaush the islamic terrorists organizations all over but it isnt a 5 minute job.Unless you nuke all of them.

The press calls him out all the time. No WMD's, (caught him on that lie), No Iraqi oil profits financing the occupation (us US tax payers are paying for it all). No progress in Iraq....a civil war rages.........
