In a move sure to raise even more questions about the decision to go to war with Iraq, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence will on Friday release selected portions of pre-war intelligence in which the CIA warned the administration of the risk and consequences of a conflict in the Middle East.
Among other things, the 40-page Senate report reveals that two intelligence assessments before the war accurately predicted that toppling Saddam could lead to a dangerous period of internal violence and provide a boost to terrorists. But those warnings were seemingly ignored......
“The United States will face negative consequences with Iraq, the region and beyond which would include:

Anarchy and the territorial breakup of Iraq;
Region-threatening instability in key Arab states;
A surge of global terrorism against US interests fueled by (militant) Islamism;
Major oil supply disruptions

My personal opinion is that George W. Bush, members of his administration, and all 535 members of the most evil, arrogant, cowardly, incompetent, contemptible, corrupt Republican-led U.S. Congress in history should be held accountable for what they all allowed to happen. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld & Co. obviously ignored reports from their own intelligence agencies. Congress obviously turned its back and let Bush run ripshod over the U.S. Constitution and violate U.S. law.
Why ALL of these people shouldn't face an international tribunal for high crimes against humanity is beyond me. Of the world's five worst terrorists in the past 75 years:
JOSEPH STALIN slaughtered 10 million of his countrymen and died peacefully in his sleep;
ADOLPH HITLER gassed 6 million Jews and took the coward's way out by commiting suicide instead of facing an international court of justice;
IDI AMIN massacred 2 million people in Uganda and then retired in luxurious 'exile';
SADDAM HUSSEIN is the only terrorist who was finally tried for his crimes by a 'new' Iraqi puppet government installed by the Bush administration, then hanged;
GEORGE W. BUSH has never accepted any responsibility - or assumed any accountabily - for the 675,000 Iraqis and 3,400 U.S. soldiers he has killed with no justification whatsoever.

On this Memorial Day, we honor all of those fallen heroes who died in service to their country. 2.5 million Americans have been killed in America's wars. Thousands of troops face imminent danger in Iraq everyday just because G.W. Bush and his family had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein and Dick Cheney coveted all of Iraq's OIL. It would be - should be - only fitting that we honor all of our troops who were conned into believing they were fighting a just and proper 'war' by condemning the Bush atrocities, lies, tortures and murders committed soley for the purpose of OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. -RKO- 05/28/07
