Should be able to right click the documents and select delete in the Doc History menu.

Otherwise: Windows Explorer,Tools menu, folder options, View tab, Show Hidden Folders tick box

c:/my documents/login name/One of the faint folders holds the document history shortcuts.

Hide the evidence quick, before someone sees it. We all know what you've done though!!!

You can right click on the list of documents and delete them individually. The "My Recent Documents" list is actually a list of links to files that you have recently viewed so it will not delete the actual file itself.

Right click on the Start button, the select Properties.

Then across from the start menu select "customize"

they won't go. as you open up more and more documents, the old ones will vanish automatically and new list forms, this keeps on happening....and this isn't an emergency. it won't crash your computer surely, does it??
