The Rock had the record with seven title reigns before he left.
Triple H now has the record with ten title reigns.
Still I have been thinking about this lately watching shoot interviews. How much of Triple H being 10 time champion is his backstage politics holding other people down, and not his actual wrestling skill. He is a great wrestler and deserves to be multiple time champion, but without his backstage pull I don't think he would have more title reigns than The Rock.
What are your thoughts, and which is the best of the two?

they both deserve multiple title reigns but youre right, triple h has a big influence on what goes on in the wwe, if it wasnt for that triple h probably wouldnt have as many title reigns

Sure, Triple H may have returned to a huge ovation after his quad injury, but so did The Rock after his "indefinite suspension" when he returned in the WCW Championship match at Summerslam 2001. The Rock is perhaps one of the most charismatic wrestlers ever, and he cut probably the best backstage promos of the last ten years. I think The Rock and Triple H could be considered fairly equal in terms of wrestling ability and other factors, such as promos, etc., but The Rock was simply more entertaining. And when you're in the sports entertainment industry, especially as the WWE Champion, entertaining the fans is most important.

You said WWE champion.sure triple h has 10 world title reigns but only 5 WWE title reigns.The rock never got the chance to get the world heavyweight title.Personally,i think the rock is better.

I say Triple H all the way. His nicknames are better, his music is great and he has charisma. But I had breakfast with The Rock about 4 years ago and he was very very friendly and kind. So this is a tough one between the two.

The rock has charisma, and Triple H isn't extremely charismatic. I never said triple H didn't have charisma, i said the rock has more charisma. Please learn to read before you make uneducated comments.
