The shark would win. That is because the shark can attack from underwater. Crocodiles can't do this because of the nature of their physiology; their hearts don't work as well underwater as it does on ground, (I forgot the physiological reasons behind it but I'm sure of it, aside from them not being able to breath underwater) and that is why crocs can't fully hunt underwater. Sharks on the other hand can breathe perfectly underwater, and so the shark would win.

Chances are though that the white shark would win, but if the crocodile was to get one hell of a first strike it would have a good chance to win.

If the crocodile was to strike first and do massive damage to the fins of the shark it would greatly limit the sharks chance of fighting back and or escaping.

Overall though the shark has the greater advantage. Between their speed, size and strength the croc is more or less screwed. The croc does have tough skin and one heck of a bite that could give it an upper hand, but there are just to many points stacked against it. Heck even then the shark could get the croc just right in its jaws it could just swim around with it underwater until it drowned.

Overall like I said it would probably be the shark... but all would depend on what type of damage the croc could deliver to the shark in the first few moments.

its a 50/50 equivalent journey, they're the two a helpful predator and can kill something they're on the precise of the food chain. great White shark - the shark has a many rows of tooth all approximately 3inch in diameter needle pointed, there skin is barbed and is over 6inches thick. being an oxygen in water breather means they might stay under water everlasting. Salt Water Crocodile - the crocodile has a solid solid set of tooth as much as 4inch in diameter needle pointed, their skin is Armour plated and can wreck someone's cranium under attempt against. Being an oxygen air breather limits their time under water. one brutal attack or head shake from the crocodile hitting the sharks gills will heavily injure the shark or perhaps kill, yet one chew from the shark might desire to shatter the Armour of the croc, inflicting irreversible harm.

Depends on who is the most hungry. Also, it would depend on if the Great White Shark wasn't that great. Maybe if it thought itself as a Mediocre White Shark? Then the croc might have a chance.
You would also have to find out if either one was a vegetarian.
