Don't worry about it. A toad will eat when it can, build up fat and then go for a very long time without food if it must. It will not be hurt from eating.

As a cold-blooded creature, a toad should not need to eat as often as a warm-blooded creature does. Most of our calories go toward maintaining normal body temperature (a calorie, after all, is a unit of HEAT). A toad does not need to do this. Caliories are only for motion and cellular repair. Is your toad a she, and could she be about to lay a giant slew of eggs?

Toads, especially if they are wild, will eat all the food they can until they are full. Same for wild fish.
