This next skate will be a couples skate.....I used to feel sooooo jealous when I'd go skating on Sunday nights and I was about 10, and couldn't do a couples skate. Those highschool kids seemed so old and mature.
Now I'm 30, and I want to go roller skating...thanks a lot! LOL

LOL.. oh my.. I used to love going roller skating!!
The main thing that makes me nostalgic though is the smell of funnel cakes. I know that now they are everywhere in malls and such but it used to be they could only be purchased at the fair/carnival. I smell it and am instantly transported back to pony rides and throwing up on the 'big girl' rides. A time when I would skip through all the game stands and my sister would trip me on the fairway when I wasn't paying attention. Ahhhh.. good times, good times.

Things that remind me of when I first met my husband.
A special song . . . when I find little notes that we had written to each other . . . an article of clothing that I wore back then, and only kept because it reminds me of him. When going through boxes, and I find old check stubs that I kept because they're from the job that we met. Sometimes I don't need anything at all. Sometimes I just look at him, smile, and wonder how we got this far. =)

Oh, a skating reference!! I loved skating!! I was mad when our skating rink switched from organ music to recorded music. It's just not the same.
