Thank a vet today? Today we honor those who have fallen in service to our country.
To promote understanding there was a school teacher who removed all desks from her class and asked the kids to sit on the floor. She said they had to earn their desk. The kids mumbled as to how.
Good grades, attendance, service, etc.
Just then veterrans brought in one desk each and gave them to the students and said , "they earned them for you" Thank a Vet today - to all of my brothers and sisters at arms , in rememberance of your our fallen friends.

Yes, and Bravo to you for your Patriotism, and the school story is awesome, and I just wish more US citizens honored our vets and current active soldiers for their sacrifices in order to live as well as we do here in the USA...

"We" is 5% of the world population, as you are referring to a US-only holiday.
Anyway, I think vets should be thanked everyday. And Canadian soldiers are the most un-thanked soldiers in the world.

Yes, i thank my grandfather who unfortuatly died a couple years ago from cancer, but he is still in my heart. Thank you, Grandpa.
