Because circumcision is not required. In addition, most guys in the world aren't circumcised. The USA is the only advanced/industrialized nation in the world that circumcises a lot, and even so, it's becoming a lot less popular (it's now as low as 14% in some states.
Worldwide statistics:

USA statistics:

So it's mostly just Muslims and Jews that practice circumcision, with a decreasing American role, too. Europeans, Latin Americans, and most Asians don't practice circumcision.
Why fix something if it's not broken? Especially when it's this painful?

As far as looks go, when erect they look similar (the foreskin usually slides back). That's when you use it, and sometimes you can't even tell the difference.
As far as cleaning goes, unless you're a dirty guy, it shouldn't get dirty either. You just pull back and rub the head; takes 5 to 10 seconds and feels good (it us the head that you're rubbing after all).
In addition, studies have found again and again that circumcision reduces sensitivity and pleasure in the long run since the nerves in the head are always rubbing when there's no foreskin protecting it. It also makes masturbation more difficult. Oddly enough, that's how circumcision became more popular, to prevent masturbation, in the USA. In addition, it has plenty of more negative risks. All that and clarification of circumcision 'benefits' myths are discussed in the link below:

Unlike the United States, most other countries do not have circumcision as a common practice. The countries that do practice circumcision do it for religious reasons. Jewish, Muslims, the Phillipines, and some african cultures practice circumcision as part of their religious beliefs.
The majority of all European countries, Asian countries, and South American countries do not have circumcision as a common practice. So in reality, you should be asking the same thing about why is it that circumcision is so commonly administered in the U.S.? Most people will argue about the "hygiene" issue.....that not being circumcised means a man will be "dirty" or not clean, because of having a foreskin.
They use the arguement that uncircumcised men harbor infections.....diseases, and who knows what else. Now....my question to you is: "Don't you think that teaching a young boy how to properly clean himself the right way would eliminate any hygiene issues"? Answer me this.....If a girl doesn't clean her vulva the right way; would it cause a hygiene issue?
Nonetheless, no one would think of cutting away a girls labia to expose the clitoris. What makes men any different?
Not being circumcised is not a bad thing......it is a natural thing.
I understand that everyone has a preference, but trying to make someone modify or mutilate his or her body, just because you like it better is a little selfish and shallow.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not ragging on you for your question, I'm just trying to show the other side of the picture.
If you feel I've misunderstood your reason for writing this question, feel free to write to me.
Best of Luck!

NOBODY needs to be circumcised. It is an outmoded religious custom that spread to other groups because it was falsely thought to stop masturbation. Hindus have the good sense to leave men the way they were created.
Most other religions and non-religious groups are now catching on to how barbaric and cruel it is to mutilate their children. Even religious Jews are now starting to refuse to cut their sons, opting for a bloodless dedication instead.
The question should not be why Hindus don't perform this horrid rite but why anyone else does! We don't ask why a certain group does not bind the feet of female babies; circumcision is similar in its senselessness and cruelty.

As a religion Hinduism has never promoted circumcision. It is a religion that promotes no harm to any animals (humans included) so Hindi boys get to keep their foreskins.

Every one should get circumcised for health, hygene and cosmetic reasons. It's plain better that way.
So everyone get circumcised it's worth it. My parents were nice enough to have me circumcised at birth so i didn't have to go through it now.
