Been married for 5 years and my marriage is as dull as dishwater despite trying to spice it up many times. My husband is a couch potato and doesn't even want to try to work things out. Our daughter is 3 and recently I've started going out every couple of weeks drinking with single friends. I've been snogging a couple of blokes. I wouldn't sleep with them but does this count as being unfaithful or is it just a laugh?

Yes, unfortunately it does count as being unfaithful, although there are far worse ways to be unfaithful, at least its only a kiss. Sounds to me like you have the seven year itch two years early. If you have only just started to go out and socialise after five years of marriage then I think you can be excused. I am not saying it is okay to kiss other men whilst married, I am simply saying that I can understand why you have done it. One thing you should think about though, is how you would feel if the tables were reversed and your husband was going out with friends and kissing other women. I would suggest that you try to explain to your husband just how bored you are with your marriage and try to find some time together minus a television and a couch lol. and see if you can spice things up a bit. With regards to coming clean, I most def would not consider telling your husband that you have kissed a few other men because it could mean the end of your marriage, and for what, a few snogs. I wish you the best of luck :-)

Well if I found out my partner had snogged someone else I wouldn't be best pleased . Yes I would see it as cheating . OK you haven't gone the full hog and slept with the guys . However for me trust is important in a relationship without trust what's the point in continuing in the relationship .

Not a good excuse to cheat just because your marriage is dull . If you spicing it up failed don't stay in the marriage.

Honey, that is definitely being unfaithful, do you really love your husband and want to be with each other. You're better off splitting up if you can't work things out rather than snogging other men behind your husband's back, doing this will not improve your relationship.

Of course it is OK, just be sure to tell your husband so that he can go get some horizontal time too. Then you will able to act all self-righteous and hurt by his "infidelity". Quit pretending and start having sex with these guys, at least you will be able to call it cheating without being confused as to if you are cheating or not. You are being unfaithful just to make it clear.

Thanks to the person above that defined snogging for the rest of us.

Sorry but I think its being unfaithful (maybe not enough to end anything) but to be honest definitely not just a laugh.

If your husband is a couch potato force him to realise how important you are to him. I don't want to take sides but maybe he is a bit depressed or low or something at the moment? Get him to do more in general, and then he will start wanting you more

yes it is being unfaithful. if you are unhappy in your marraige you should talk to your husband. staying together for your child isn't any good either as having 2 happy parents that are apart is better than 2 miserable parents that are together.
how would you feel if you found out your husband had been unfaithful?
i suggest you either stay with your husband and remain faithful or break it off and go out and have fun without the guilt! sounds like you're flogging a dead horse with your old man anyway hon x

That depends on how you would consider it if your husband was snogging another woman... If you think that's being unfaithful then yes, it is for you too. Sound like he needs a kick up the jacksy

you are sure barking up the wrong tree you married your husband for better or worse you should be out on the town with him not your friends . I would say to you if your dishwater is dull better add more soap .....keep trying you have only been married for 5 years I have been with my husband for 24 years and still love him like it was the day I saw him You have to work at it if you want you better fight for it

Snogging is kissing right?
Depends on how forward you have been with your hub. I think if it suits him fine not to invest intimately in your relationship, then what the hey. Snog away. However, do you really want to stay with someone that will treat you as a roommate and not a lover?

Yeah definitely something you wouldnt do in front of ur boyfriend is cheating. you could style of get a loophole right here in case you're prepared to tell him that night once you do it - yet to be truthful he can not be into it Im particular you recognize this besides. superb element is to split up mutually with your boyfriend, snog (or in spite of) the different guy, then come back with the boyfriend if u the two desire. No guilt in touch then (and probable some chuffed making up with the boyfriend)
