You look deep into your heart and your soul. You do a final check in there to make sure that it is true. If it is you throw your self-defences off a cliff. As they plummet to the earth to be destroyed you scream your warrior victory cry...

I met the love of my life right here on answers and she goes by girlnamedmaria on here. We emailed each toher for a while and developed a strong bond of trust, mutual admiration, and respect for each other. She asked if she could call me and on August 18th, I heard her sweet voice for the first time. After talking to her about 20 minutes I told her that I loved her and she gasped for a second and said I love you too. We later met and knew our love was real and now we will spending the rest of our lives together. This is absolutely the most amazing and most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. I'm not really sure just how much courage it took for me to say it the first time as it just came out from my heart and I just had to say it to her.

if you really feel it then you don't have to find courage to say it but you have to restrain yourself from not blurting it out.
the only thing in i love you's way is our ego.
the fact that we would much rather give after we have taken.
saying i love you is a wonderful feeling even if you do not get the desired answer back cause you know you are being true to yourself and that you have the amazing capability to feel THAT.

The love of my life is someone I met on Yahoo !A and he goes by 'bluedevil' ---see his answer to this question. After our many emails, developing a strong friendship, we arranged to talk on the phone and after about 20 minutes, he told me "I love you" and I gasped, and then said "I love you too'. We just said it without having to stop and think about it or plan anything. When you have a true and honest love , it just should come from your heart without hesitation. Ours did.
And I will be moving in August to Atlanta to be with him for the rest of our lives.

I honestly am not sure....when i said those words to my boyfriend for the first time, i was so nervous that i was shaking and my voice was shivering....and so i dont think i was really brave at all at that point, i just felt like...even if he would get scared and leave me right then and there....i just really wanted him to know how i felt about him, because it meant a lot to me...and so i just didnt want to leave anything unsaid...because you never know when you´ll get a second chance....

When it's right and it's real you don't need any courage. It comes naturally and honestly. Cause it's an overwhelming feeling that has to come out.
