I have been using VB5 for years. Moved to VB6, but help is separate in the "MSDN" library.
Where or how can I get it?

I know it is available for free nowadays.
Unfortunately, MS sites are NEVER available to us here (pt) (always too busy, takes hours to load on ADSL).

MS has recently made current and future versions of MSDN free and available for download.

I am afraid that this maybe too little too late for you...
You might try installing the current version at least...

All versions of VS6 except the learning edition came with a basic copy of MSDN and in some cases a time limited offer for a free 1 year subscription to MSDN for quarterly updates.

As MS made MSDN available on a paid subscriber basis I sincerely doubt that they would make the older versions available for down load & installation for free... They have made the content available for online access for free.... I know that's sounds counter intutitave but that's MS for ya...

You might try Ebay and see if you can obtain an old set of MSDN disks. (3 CD or 1 DVD)

MSDM is Microsoft developers network - used to be a 'subscription ony' service sent out on CD.

Might be available on-line these days = suggest you go visit MS site
