what do i wear to a highschool athletic banquet??

We are having our annual highschool banquet and i have no idea what do wear all they said was no jeans. Can you give me some suggestions on what i could wear. Like do i wear a simple black dress or dress pants.??

Wear something casual. A nice skirt, not too short, and a cute top.

Maybe a nice pair of capris and a cute top!

I remember in high school, those were never too formal. A lil black dress might be too much. Maybe a nice sun dress??

you should wear dress pants because you will feel a lot comfertable and if you wear a simple black dress then you might not feel like you wil want to have as much fun as you could have. You should just wear dress pants.

You should ask the people in charge of this event what you should wear. Don't be surprised if they tell you to wear a jacket and tie. That is normal for anything that calls itself a "banquet".

uhm. well im in middle schoo but for my sports awards night i wore a black mini skirt that came down to like mid-theigh. than i wore a tanktop wih a nice shrug over it.

wear a cute black top with a short coat over it. layer this. for bottoms wear a black mini skirt with leggings with rhinestones at the bottom. hopefully that will work.

I wore a sundress and heels to mine. But bear in mind, this was 1990, but I don't think you can ever go wrong with that combo.
