Everytime I log off my PC, it resets everything, so nothing gets stored or saved. Everything deletes, even internet pages I have been on etc. When I start my computer these are the messages that appear:
1.Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.
DETAIL - An I/O operation initiated by the registry failed unrecoverably. The registry could not read in, or write out, or flush, one of the files that contain the system's image of the registry.
2.Windows cannot find local profile and is logging on a temporary one.
I had my computer re-formatted a couple of months ago because my son deleted an important part of the system by accident. Has it got anything to do with this. Is there anything I can do? Hope someone can help. Thanks

it sounds to me like you need to re-install windows so dig out your disk and that would solve the problem

You don't say what operating system it is.
No it's got nothing to do with your sons earlier actions.
If you're running Windows XP or Vista try finding a Systems Restore point before all your problems started this might work but it sounds as if you have a much more serious problem.
You can find the systems restore feature by clicking on
Start
Programmes
Accessories
System tools
Systems Restore.
Save any files if you have any files to save to re-movable media.
Run systems restore.
If it doesn't restore get someone to re-install the Operating System.
Takes as little as 35 to 40 minutes depending on your PC, you will however need to re-install all the secondary software programs which may take a little longer.
It is virtually impossible and will take a lot longer to correct all the errors.

Probably the easiest way is to log in to safe mode as administrator. Tap the F-8 key while the machine is starting up when you first turn on the power. You will get a menu of white print on the plain black screen. Select safe mode. Login as administrator (by default there is no password, but if you have set one, I hope you remember what it is). Once the machine has started, click on start and open control panel. Go to the users icon. (It will probably say user accounts). Double click on it and delete the user account you're having trouble with. Then go back and create a new one with a different name. This should clear the corrupt profile. Be certain that you give this new username administrator privilege. Good Luck.

You could try re-starting in safe mode, but choose 'last known good configuration' from the list instead of safe mode.
Repeatedly tap the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads.
And when you get it fixed, it might be worth giving your son a limited user account just in case he's still messing with it.
Make sure yours is an administrators account, and password protect it. You can do all that from Start - Control panel - user acocunts.

A few possibilities here im afraid:-
a) hard drive failure
b) memory failure (unlikerly)
c) virus
d) currupted files.
The first thing you need to do is re install windows. Dig out your disk and stick it in the drive and follow instructions.
If that doesnt work then maybe speak to a professional or start replacing parts!

re-install whatever windows system you have... basically re-format ur pc, its easy to do from your windows disk (follow the on screen prompts) after the re-format dont forget to re-install any drivers for sound, graffics etc as well as your internet, msn etc etc..... if your not confident with re-formatting urself, take ur tower or lap-top to ur local pc repair centre and it will cost around £40-50.
other option is to call out a pc repair man/woman and see if they can sort the problem out for you, most dont charge a call out fee and will fix it while you watch, if they dont fix it most wont charge you anything or will only charge you a small fee (but check the fees out over the phone with them before you ask them to come out)
once sorted you might want to set up a different user profile for ur son, which once he logs into windows his profile wont allow him to access important files (set ur user profile to computor administrator which only allows you to go into windows file systems etc etc)
hope you get it sorted.... from what you have said it does sound like some important system files are missing!
kids eh.
also you may have invalid registries etc so try installing this http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/
run it and it will find all invalid registrys and fix them as well as privacy items & start up errors, you will be suprised what it can pick up and clean. the best one to get is wincleaner one click, i think you can get a free trial download but the actuall full software has to be paid for.... but i know someone on ebay who sells it for a fiver so if you want more info let me know.

it may also be overheating. verify to make certain the cooling fan is operating properly. the classic symptom of an overheating workstation is at the same time as it locks (freezes up) too much and subject matters blunders of widespread danger-free practices Failure (“This software has utilized an unlawful operation and would close down”) and the notorious “blue exhibit of death”. in case you positioned off the case’s duvet and, with the workstation open, the workstation stops being tricky, the priority is overheating.
