I'd say India definitely is in great form right now. Losing against Bangladesh in the World Cup is a very different situation to beating them in a test, but the point is...they did it, and they did it well. People may say that they got the record of the top four batsmen making a century because it was only Bangladesh, but the team responsible for making our World Cup a misery was also Bangladesh.

The team have concentrated properly on their mistakes since the World Cup and made the right changes to bring results. As an opener in the World Cup, Uthappa didn't manage more than 18 runs in a game. Replacing him for Gambhir has been a positive thing. Moving Dhoni up the order has also meant he made some runs.

As for the tests, India dominated Bangladesh in the 2nd one. In the 2st one, the rain saved Bangladesh. All in all, the team definitely is back in form. Hopefully this can be confirmed once India have played other teams. Having only played Bangladesh since the World Cup, it is difficult to say for sure.

Well from my point of view, I would like to answer this question,

India had showed no mercy on poor bangladesh in the 2nd Test match between,

The way the Indian batted was no more far away from Brilliant batting peice, it was a power-hitting show from the Indian top order and they proved they can back at ya very hard and show no mercy.

That same goes into the bowling department, When Zaheer Khan was attacking the batsman of Bangladesh, they had no chance in playing against Khan's pace and length. I was most impressed with Zaheer Khan, Dinesh Karthik, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid.

But we have to remember that Bangladesh is not so exprienced team as India and they are into to devolping countries and we are not so prominent to say that India is back in form. This is Bangladesh and the team India has played is the minor country who is developing into a better playing country.

The main thing is that, England Series and So on,

The next thing is that India has taken the revange against Bangladeshi, its time they prove that they are really back in form when they play against England.

So, by this One Sided power series was not enough to prove that India is back in form, Its the England Vs India which would tell us the real deal...

So its just...Lets just wait and watch game from now onwards...

While the performance against Bangladesh willhelp to regain the confidence of some of the players and will be a morale booster, I dont think we can reach the conclusion that the team has come back in form as Bangladesh played very badly in the series.

this is not purely India, however the Asian communities customarily. Granted S.L is taking part in properly interior the W.C.C so some distance, yet one wonders how some distance they'll pass. i think of the Asian gamers are at par with gamers from SA, NZ, and Aust. skills smart, yet lack the keenness and are much less athletic whilst the going gets not elementary. They grow to be too predictable.

I don't think so.
he century of 4 members in the test amtch shows that they can hit hard, but just against baby teams. in fact even sachin's centruy won't fetch him much points in the world rankings. I rate this winning as no big one but just a tiger beating a baby tiger.
wat makes me angry is that when India can beat bangladesh with not letting them win any match against them in a series wat made them loose against bangladesh in world cup. though not in semi-finals but we could have expected in the Super Eights. in both series the indian players hav just shown their overconfidence. to show back her form, indian has to beat big teams like SA & aussies, atleast Pakistan & Srilanka.
but wat indian really needs now is a strict and perfect coach. ravi shastri has not done that big job for training them for bangladesh team. i say that among indian champions of yesteryears, we can hav Mohinder Amarnath, kapil Dev, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Sandeep Patil, Roger Binny & Madan Lal.

They have settled some scores. That's all.
Only if they beat England in the ensuing tour,we can say they are back on track.
