who are you to say i'm wrong not to say religon is bad it was made up for some way of excape in bad times that is what all religons are something for someone to turn to in times of trouble and to be together, , I think thats all religon is if you think I'm wrong then tell me and saying mean stuff but itsn't going to change what I think, And I shouldn't have to It's my opinion!

I'm Wiccan, and I don't think it's stupid, but I do think there is some really crappy pop-Wicca out there that is stupid.

it's not stupid; i understand why people want to follow that road, but i think its ignorant and people shouldn't be playing with things in the world that they don't understand.
there are forces out there and i studied wicca for quite a while and things and rituals they do for personal gain seems very short-sighted and ignorant, not to mention arrogant that they think they can harness the powers!
just my opinion.
also many people chose to be wiccan or pagan because they have a thing against God. That is what gives wicca part of its silly reputation - proper pagans don't become pagan because they think they are sticking a finger up at god - but those kind of pagans are much rarer than the "hey hey i'm a quirky, exciting minority now!" type

I don't think its stupid, because wiccans themselves don't think its stupid, and there are people who take wiccan spirituality quite seriously. But some of the rituals do seem a bit strange. But being outside of it, I can't judge.
I'm not a wiccan, but I am interested in comparitive religion and philosophy. In fact, I'm studying it at uni. But I can see where your comming from!

it's corny..it's mostly for young people desperate for an identity, and they jump on this because they think it looks scary...so, they waste time with goofy little rituals until it gets boring. Put antlers on their heads pretending they don't look ridiculous. "OOH Host of the Hoary Netherworld! I beseech you with the sacred leaves of Ethnar, and the Floppy Phallus of Lum and Krorom!"

People who have a fear of the unknown or are too lazy to gather more information and gain an insightful view into what they do not know...it is called diversity and acceptance...may you be blessed in seeing the error of your self-centered ways and become a whole person someday...

wicca itself is real and allmost a science, but just like Rome, all wiccan paths lead to Hell.
People who practice wicca is stupid, it is only satans followers that are supposed to follow it, but more and more good people fall for satans tricks.
