I'm seeing SPECKLEFRAT! used increasingly. I love new words and have no idea what is meant by it. Please put this old lady writer in the know. Thanks.

Yes, people are using it as a word. I want to know what these people "mean" when they use it. Search the internet and you will see it being used by a variety of people. It's not in the Urban Dictionary, yet, so I'm curious. How did it originate?

Here's the best I could come up with: Specklefrat first appeared on the interweb as a joke suggestion by Nuff Said Sis for a baby name here on Yahoo! Answers. Shakepseare Fan found the name Specklefrat to be so hilarious, that she began citing SPECKLEFRAT! as her source in future answers. Below is a link to the original question. Click on Shakepseare Fan's profile and browse through some of her answers to see the subsequent uses of SPECKLEFRAT! You'll have to go back a couple of weeks, as she's apparently grown bored with the joke.
