Myself and at least 9 others in my family will be attending services conducted by our local VFW, and the Men's Aux of the VFW. We will be paying honor to the veterans who have served our country. The age range of the people in our family will be from 9-50. I feel its important to teach our children the importance of paying respect to veterans. Whether you support the wars of the past or present, our veterans deserve nothing less than our thanks and respect. They were willing to make a sacrifice to our way of life we enjoy today. A country is no better than the way we treat the ones who have served it. My Dad served in WWII. It's just a small way for me to show thankfulness and respect to him and all the others in my area who done their duty to our country.
