Has Iraq not formed a new govt with our help and protection?
Hmmm, sounds like a win to me. We just have to make sure it doesnt come unglued until they are ready to handle security on their own.
The absolute most dumbest thing we could possibly do is now is cut and run. Ive never heard more people advocate the resignation of defeat in war as I have in this time. What happened to that old fashioned fighting American spirit that opposes tyranny? Is it dying with liberalism? Is this the end of a great nation that we cant even wage war for more than 2 years without the media and half its politicians opposing and politicizing it for no good reason?
Libs only have one problem and one regret, that it was led by GWB and no a democrat so they could not get full credit if and when we succeed. Therefore they are forced to go down the road of defeatism. But if we had a democrat in office, many of them would be all for it!

Bushco has ballzed up Iraq from start to finish. Bedwetting moonbat conservatives can't deny that. The worst thing to do for our troops and our country is to bring them home now! The Iraqis have failed to pull themselves together and the parliment is now taking the summer off. If they can't be fvcked to fix it themselves, why the hell should be keep sacrificing our most precious treasure? Focus on terrorism, not a civil war!

It would only change the theater of this war. Right now we fight the enemy in Iraq. If we come home, they follow us here. When will some people learn that we don't necessarily call the shots when it comes to stopping the war. If we handed over every rifle to the enemy today, they would pick them up and blow our brains out. They don't keep hostages--they behead them.

he is telling the truth! but some failed to understand that this is no a conventional warfare there you have an enemy here you have gang of criminals that murder innocent men/women/children in the name of Allah! wake up it will be hard young/men and women will died but in the end we will achieve our goals. people failed to understand the reason we are fighting this war is so in the future we do no have to fight it at home. and now may i ask a question. How many young soldiers died in world war I, World II in order that you may enjoy the liberties that we now take for granted?

Emphatically not. It is very easy to lose track of why this war must be won; if we choose to lose it, we can expect further meddling by Taliban and al Qaeda, with possible consequences that would make 9/11 look like a Sunday school picnic.

Yes most of those neocons are hipocrites. I was there those guys don't like fighting an endless war. Just because someone else says they are proud to be there doesn't mean they can't wait to get back home.

If you use an Intelligent premise to try to get your view across, you just might get a better response. Instead you make a solid case, that you are but another bitter Liberal.
