Faster than...?

This is a very vague question, but:

Assuming you're using a PC with windows, you can do the following:

If you want to completely uninstall programs, go to control panel, and click on add/remove programs (or uninstall a program in Vista) and uninstall it that way. That's really the only way to take care of the program's data files, junk it has put into the windows directory, and junk it has put into the registry, in one shot.

if you just want to delete certain files faster,
- highlight the file(s) and press shift+del. this will delete them as opposed to sending them to the trash can.

I hope this helps.

Not necessarily. From what I understand, windows vista needs to run off of at least 2 gb of memory for your computer to run smoothly. I have windows vista too and I have 2 gb and I works fine. My mom on the other hand, only has one gb and hers always crashes. So I would suggest gettin more memory because I'm pretty sure u have more than enough space on your hard drive so erasing programs would not be the solution at all. U need more memory. Defraging your hard drive once a week or so might help too. Hope this helps!

The Windows Add/Remove is the only quick way to remove programs. (Not really all that good at doing the job).

If you want you can purchase a program called "Smarty Uninstaller 2007". (Use your search engine to find the latest download version).

This program will remove the program and all fragments left behind in your registry or any other place hidden in you pc.

Click start, control panel, add/remove. But only remove programs that you know what they are.
