By instinct I would save my loved one first, but I would then try to save as many of the 5 strangers as I could....hoping I could save everyone.

I'm very selfish, I would go through hell to save a loved one, and if the other 5 died, so be it. I would try to save them too, but I'm going for what is important to me first. Besides, (I've actually been in life threatening situations) a degree of instinct just takes over, you make sure your kids and your wife are ok, then you figure out how you get out alive.

We all think that we would be strong in a situation like this, but most of us would be so traumatized that we would do good to escape possibly taking anyone that was standing next to you or in passing. I was about 7 years old when a woman had a wreck on our street, her car was on fire, she could not get her seat belt off and burned to a crisp. I realized then just how hot fire could be, no one could get near the car, it was an inferno

It would have to be the loved one. Its just instinct and human nature I guess. I lost the man I loved in January, so I know what its like to lose a loved one.

:-(

MY loved one first!

My family always comes first regardless of the situation. I need not elaborate further.
