Not in most cases, but Brooklyn Beckham sounds like a great name to me.

God no. For one thing the sex act and conception are two different things. Conception (fertilisation) can take up to three days after the sex act so who knows where she would have been. Imagine if it was Cockermouth or, worse still, Peckam. How would the kid feel to be called Cockermouth Beckham or Peckham Beckham?

Let's see, my daughter could be either Calgary, Alberta or Canada. I'm gonna go for 'no' on that one.
My son could be West, Jordan or Utah. I suppose Jordan wouldn't be too bad.
I had a friend who named all of their children after the places where they were conceived. Their name's were Lennox, Boston and Houston.

Not if it was conceived in French Lick, In., or peculiar, Mo., or several others, but Brooklyn is OK, but I sure have heard it a lot. I try to go for unique. I did good with my daughter, but not with my son.

It depends on what the name of the place is. For instance, I actually like Brooklyn and wouldn't mind naming my son that. However, I would never name my child Suffern as in Suffern, N.Y.

It depends on the place. If the name resembled a person's name maybe otherwise maybe as a middle name if it was not really a person's name. You've got to think about the child having to go through life with this name.

There are many more important things to name a child after. But mine was concieved in Harmony. That would be a nice name for a girl.
