Contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. They have the knowledge and the resources to properly feed and care for abandoned baby wild animals.
In some areas, because of the threat of rabies, not all rehabbers will take raccoons. In that case, either leave it alone and hope that momma will come back for it, or call your local animal control to come and get it.
Do not attempt to take care of it yourself. Do not get near it, especially if you live on the East Coast, as rabies is a very real threat, and raccoons are one of the biggest carriers of rabies in the eastern US.
Also, it is a wild animal protected by law, and you have to have the proper permits to keep one. The fines for keeping a wild animal without the proper permits is quite substantial. So are the medical bills, if the baby bites or scratches you!

if you call animal control, they'll kill it. Go to the petstore and get some of that baby animal milk formula, and come back and see if it's still there. if it is then check it out. Be carefull though, it could possibly have rabies or some other type of issue. so dress in thick clothes just in case it bites you, or it's mom comes back for vengence.

Even though it may be really cute and harmless be careful it can bite. Try to pick it up then feed it with a baby bottle. If you don't have one go to a local pet store they sell little ones. As the racoon gets older and bigger you will have a bond with it. But when it is old enough you will have to let it free because it is a wild animal.

Ignore it and go inside for a few hours. See if mom comes back. While you are waiting look up numbers in your area for wildlife. It it has been abandoned and is too young to survive on its own they will help you. DO NOT touch it. It could easily have rabies - if it does and you have touched it it will be killed and you will have to get shots.

Leave him be. and the mother will return. Do not touch and get you sent on the baby, the mother will reject the baby if that happens.
Thanks
