The MBA, or Master's of Business Administration, is a degree that leads to a wide range of managerial jobs in business. Salaries will depend upon not only what job the individual chooses to pursue, but also upon how much prior experience the individual has. I've been teaching MBA students for over 25 years now, and I've seen everything from students with no prior work experience at all to those with twenty or thirty years of experience. Some people go for an MBA in an effort to find a job. Others do the MBA in order to enhance their chances at promotion within their existing companies, to fit company requirements for managers at a certain level, or to prepare them to start and run their own companies.
Nearly half of MBA students these days are female. I can't speak to comfort, since that has never been what I was looking for in a job, but I wouldn't say that the experience of women in MBA programs has been significantly different than that of men in recent years. Managerial jobs do carry a fair amount of stress - maybe not as much as that carried by some physicians and attorneys, but certainly close. There is, however, a range of possible stress experiences - those who go for jobs on Wall Street or with major consulting firms will probably experience a great deal of stress, while some at nonprofits or others in less-competitive fields may experience less stress. If the person in question wants to avoid stress, they should avoid jobs with lots of deadlines or those which don't allow them much authority.

MBA is a masters program and is widely accepted around the world as a level of business education. However, with the advent of online education programs, MBAs are not all created equally and some may even suggest that the degree has become somewhat diluted in its standards and reputation. It's important that you do extensive research before choosing to embark on the program at a particular institution.
Completion of a MBA program does not guarantee success. Like any other profession, it really depends on what you do with the knowledge you acquired in your chosen career. Many MBA's go to become entrepreneurs. Others work for big business or government thus its very difficult to define job opportunities or salary levels.
Gender is irrelevant when it comes to attaining a MBA. Again, it's really up to what you do with the knowledge that will determine your success.
Like other worthwhile professions, nothing comes easy. MBA's are usually put in positions of trust where professional judgement is required so yes, stress likely exists to varying degree.
If you're considering post-undergraduate business designations, other notable designations worth investigating include: CFA, CPA which could lead you to other interesting career opportunitities that are more narrower in scope.
Good luck.

gals there is nothing like gals & guys in this century right everyone is working as hard as they can.
tension depends on what sort of person u r not on ur job r ur career.so try to adjust urself first, then figure out if u wud like to work r nt.
if u think u can handle urself well then do management studies, bcos there is no use in doing an MBA by paying a lot of fees & then feel tense abt doing a job & then sit at home isnt it.

An MBA applicable to many business functions. The notion that management is applicable only to business enterprises has been phased out with increasing applicability across sectors from co-operatives to government, healthcare to education and almost every other sphere. Institutions for developing managers have sprung up for co-operative, healthcare, retail, fashion technology, agribusiness .........
