All offers depend on how much they want to keep you as a customer.

If you have paid your bills on time and maybe even signed up to a few rip-off 'offers' (like payment protection insurance, loss/damage insurance etc) or maybe gone 'over the free minutes' on a regular basis (and paid massive penalty charges), they may offer you a really good deal.

However if you piss off the Call Desk staff or have been late in paying your bills, they may choose to stick to the 'script' & offer you nothing just to get rid of you (of course they might then charge you cancellation fees).

If you can't get what you want from the Call Desk, demand to speak to their superior / Manager.
