Actually, I keep a journal titled just that, "Thing I Want To Do Before I Die" with the top of the journal entry being the thing I want to do, and the bottom of the page I write if and or when I ever accomplish the goal. The goals have ranged from the mundate to the outrageous.
Examples of goals that have been met:
- Play lazer tag (Got my butt kicked in points by 6 year olds.)
- Learn to unhook the X-Box or PS2 and hook up the VCR and DVD without the assistance of the neighbor's 12 year old. (It took me two hours, but I did it!)
- Buy a video camera
- Go to Europe
- Visit a Castle
- Drink warm German Beer (was Yucky)
- Be in a movie (was just an extra in two, but it was fun!).
- Dye my hair red (was not a wise choice with my skintone).
- Get a picture of my artwork in the newspaper (had my decorated Easter Rabbit Peep dressed up like Harry Potter and titled "Harry Peepter" in the newspaper both a Friday and Saturday...lame, I know, and was just thankful they didn't ask what grade I was in because I have a teen son!).
- Publish an article (took pictures and a few concerts, gave reviews and had published on fan and one artist's website, so I counted that as accomplished also).
- Buy a Mercedes (owned 2, found out it to fix them it was at least 3 times the cost it is to get an American car fixed, decided to let the ex have them in the divorce settlement because of that).
- Compete in a singing competition (was a dive bar karaoke competion, but did place 2nd place and won a T-Shirt after a 4 week elimination competition).
Examples of goals still to be met:
- Skydive
- Explore a cave (or at least go on a tour of one).
- Visit the Empire State Building and visit every floor (or course, I would try to take the above referenced goal-met video camera with me to record the occassion!).
- Go to Vegas, take in a show and gamble a little.
- Visit Disneyland
- Visit Austrailia
- See my son graduate from high school.
- See my son graduate from college.
- Live to see may grandchildren.
- Spoil grandchildren rotten, them return them to my son to deal with (just like his Grandma did with him). Especially look forward to feeding them lots of candy, let them do a "Stomp" routine with all the pots and pans in my kitchen so they can do a encore performance in my son's kitchen and let them build canned good and video tape castles (of course, allowing them to remove all the labels from the cans and taking all the videos out of the case first) just like he Grandma used to do for him and then praise him for being "so cute"!.
- Fit into a size 8 again.
- Find out who shot John F. Kennedy (don't think Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone gunman from all I have read).
- Visit all of the States and the U.S.; then all of the territories in Canada.
- Watch every movie that has ever been made.
- Go on a Shipwreck tour of the Great Lakes.
- Learn how to play golf (even though it looks boring...I try to have an open mind).
- Bowl over 250 in bowling.
- Get above 150,000 on my Ms. Pacman score (have been working on this for over 20 years!)
- Figure out what the heck "Runescape" is all about.
- Die in my sleep or at least a peaceful, non-violent death.

Visit the Dead Sea, go to New Zealand, have at least one child, have a nose job, get rid of any mental illness I have or at least have everything under control for the most part.

Retire. I want to my own boss of all my time. I plan on having a funeral service for my alarm clock. Wanna come? And there's no need to wear black to THAT funeral.
