Yes most of the time when I'm around kids, I watch what I say and do. I have been known to carry on in front of my friends kids only because that's the environment they are used to. Generally I don't like swearing or carrying on and being silly in front of kids and wait until they have gone to bed or out of the room first!

I just don't swear around them. We have a little agreement between us. Basically, whenever they say a 'bad word' they get a tap on the back of the hand. To make it fair, if I do the same, they get to give me a tap. It works wonders. We have a generally swear free house.....most of the time!

If your talking about what I think you're talking about, of course I would censor yourselves. The kids dont want to see that.

I believe in setting a good example. I wouldn't swear in front of my boss, it's unprofessional. I wouldn't swear in front of a child because it's just plain WRONG.
Image is everything. I wish to maintain an element of respect and dignity. You don't get that by acting like you've spent half your life in prison, not knowing how society works.

I sensor myself all the time. How you present your self in private also effects how you act in public. Act nice be nice...You don't forget if you do it all the same all the time.
God don't like ugly...

I act no differently around kids than I do around adults. Well, I'm a little sillier perhaps.

I do what I do for the most part. They know they aren't to cuss(in English) and they know that adults do cuss sometimes. I'm not the kind to paint visions of a make believe world for them to grow up in.
