Hope Tendulkar is not geting pension he is paid well from BCCI. so he has to perform well.

Sachin is a very experienced player in the Indian cricket history, he has been in the cricket world for almost 17 years and he knows what to do and what not to do,

He is a grown man, in his 30+, So he knows what he is doing. He knows where to perform and where not to perform, but we like him to perform everywhere but that is depends upon him.

I think the main reason for his saying that he needd not prove anything after 17 years is the criticism going around after the world cup and people demanding that he should retire.

Now that there are signs of his regaining his form, he used the opportunity to come out against his critics.

Yes, let him cry because cricket is no less than corporate world, if you are not good enough, you are out of the league. So he is expected to perform, if he doesnot he needs to be dropped & only brought back if he plays good domestice cricket & not only good television ads.

On the other hand, board should support him positively & help him to overcome regular injuries & bad phases.
