I'm 30 weeks today and still have this issue, there has been absolutely no signs of constipation. For me though it's my iron pills that are biggest contributor to this, I had to cut my dosage back by half because I couldn't even leave the bathroom when I started on them.
I honestly don't think that anything in my diet, or excess drinking of water is causing this, and frankly I am not willing to play around too much with diet and fluids since I am gaining weight normally. Although I have tried pigging out on foods that are supposed to bung you up, it hasn't helped.
So instead I look at the positive side. I am not likely to get hemmorhoids!!
I wouldn't worry too much unless you are showing signs of being dehydrated or not gaining weight. There are many reasons why this may be happening, you may have a stomach bug that will clear on it's own (and isn't dangerous to your baby), you may have a dairy intolerance so you can try removing those from your diet for a few days to see if that helps. Also let your Doctor know just in case.

Like you, I always have loose stools in the morning when I'm pregnant and sometimes have 2 movements in the day. I never get constipated.
My midwife just told me womens bodies react differently to the pregnancy hormones, so for some their bowels speed up rather than slow down.
The "What to Expect When You're Expecting" book addresses this issue and just suggest you eat more "bulk forming" foods like bananas, but I didn't really notice a difference after adding these to my diet.
Congratulations!!

First of all miscarriages can happen at any time.
8 weeks is just the beginning. you have to wait after the first trimester (13w) But you past that!!! and as for your problem... maybe something you ate?? i dont have any constipation, and 12 weeks pregnant. Everyones bodies are different.
odds are your just fine!!!
dont worry... if you still are, call your doctor and ask him over the phone.
Good Luck && congrats!!!!
